Air or Error ?

What a Wild Day

What a wild day in the markets today!  The Fed announces their descision to invent at least another $600 Billion out of thin air.  We ordinary mortals must work for the paper stuff and they just with a swipe of the pen, the click of a mouse and "Voila".  I must be in the wrong business.   Anyways, I feel the need to do something quick and get out of their system!  Why not buy something or click on one of the ads on my blog.  Thank You.

November to Remember?

The elections are near and the world series are just wrapping up with a Giant win. You will notice the new solar backup link I put on the top of my blog.  This looks like a good product, I will need to order one and make sure it works.  How did I do this link without causing the search engine robots to set off alarm bells that I may be wrapped up with some "Affiliate Group"?  Well, that's easy, I created a directory on my web site called "ads" and specifically instructed the search engines NOT to look in this directory by placing a line in my robots.txt file like this:   
User-agent: *
Disallow: /ad/*
Then I simply place some redirect files in the ads directory to forward the visitor on to the appropriate location.  In this way I get to stay off the black list.

Hey, in other news - this page says my web site is worth $9,953 !!  Interesting site, it also shows you the geographical location of the server too which is interesting.  Apparently I am located in Atlanta, GA.

OK, I pledge to keep this blog better updated now that I have more time on my hands...

Funny, how I started this page - Keith Grey Programmer in Seattle - a few days ago, check the last post for the exact date. In the rankings, I went from nowhere to #5 and now I'm sitting at #2 under some goofy Author named Keith Gray.

There's not a single mention of "Grey" with an "E" anywhere on his page! Not even in the source code! Strange, well at least I am #2 so that's better than nothing. Now I will just sit back and wait.

Back in the PNW

Hey Guys and Gals!

I am not in Taiwan any more, I am back here in the great Pacific Northwest. We already had an adventure over in Eastern Washington and I am sure there will be many more to come. The picture on the left is an old cabin we drove past near Sherman Pass. We stayed the first night in this place below, a nice motel and campground in Kettle Falls.

Now, it is time to get back to work and make something. I just recently completed a Keith Grey BIO page so I will come up better in the rankings. Check out the page and let me know how it looks. I will try and get in here to update this ole blogger more often!
